Calendar Date Select

This is a JavaScript calendar date picker for Ruby on Rails. * It’s lean (only ~15kb css+js code)! * It’s mean (it can pick dates and datetimes, popup or embedded! all styling is done with CSS, so it is completely customizable)! * It’s easy to use (it automatically puts its javascripts/css/image files where needed and is fully integrated with rails form builders). Compatible with all modern browsers. NOTE: The JavaScript can be used with any web framework other than Ruby on Rails. prototype.js 1.5.0 or greater required for use.

There are a lot of JavaScript Calendars out there, but actually only a few can be very customizable to fit anyone's need. That's why we have created a Calendar Component that is very customizable and extendable. You can see our Calendar at work right in this page. There are tons of features in this calendar package, such as - Create any numbers of months per calendar. - Set the weekend, days off, holidays (dates off), start day of the week. - Start and end date. - Multi selection with limits or without. - Skinnable (using CSS). - Can have any number of calendars in any page. - Optimized for best performance.

Calendar Date Picker

Easy to set up calendar script that overcomes most of the flaws of existing scripts (like the problem in IE that it gets overlapped by select-boxes). It works with forms, allowing the user to insert a date through the GUI of the calendar. Automatically marks any existing date that has already been filled in and also marks the current date. Time range (in years) is also configurable. Except for the html part that embodies the calendar, no other changes are needed to your existing pages!

Calendar Widget

This is a calendar to be used as a date picker, or date display. Can be used in as many instances as you want, with some handy options.

The look of the calendar is fully CSS customizable. You’ll find the css file in the .zip along with the js file (you’ll have to include both in your template) .

I’ve tried to make the calendar to serve as a stand alone script, but it can be easily be integrated in other projects, and you can even take the calendar’s development further .

Free JavaScript Event Calendar

This FREE Javascript event calendar tool lets you put an attractive and dynamic event calendar on your web site with optional hyperlinks to more detailed information and image inclusion to add visual appeal.

Unlike most other web calendar tools, it requires no CGI or server-side scripting or database capabilities on the server and it still works with older (pre-CSS) browsers. This is an enhanced version of a calendar script created by Kevin Ilsen and is compatible with any event definitions you have created for use with his script.

You can assign events to categories and your visitors can selectively hide or display entire categories of events. Category formats can be assigned globally, so that each category can have its own format such as color, but you can override formatting for individual events. You can add messages in the empty space that usually occurs at the beginning and end of most months. And you can allow your visitors to switch to a printer-friendly view and to download the events displayed in a format suitable for importing into MS Outlook and from there into PDA's. With the appropriate external JavaScript functions, you can also automatically add holidays and corresponding dates in an alternate calendar system (Hebrew, Moslem, etc.).
