It is designed to provide support for network administrators who allocate IP addresses and manage subnet information for their organization. IPReg is a structured application allowing fine granular control of user accounts to support delegated administration. The structure includes allocation of site information, device management and subnet an IP allocation. Its structured approach is based on the fact that you can’t add an IP address to an item of hardware if you don’t where or what the device is, the site it belongs to and the subnet the IP address should belong to.
